Private - One-On-One
All of our Academic Instructors at "Tutors-R-Us" Personal Growth & Tutoring Center provide professional, caring, private one-on-one tutoring. We specialize in Reading, Spelling and Dyslexia using a program called "The Barton Reading & Spelling System." We also offer self-esteem building, other academic subjects for success. (Math, Science, ESL, Writing, test preparation and computer skills.) Sessions are available to students of all ages and levels. Most sessions take place at our center, but at-home lessons or other mutually agreed locations may be negotiated.

"The Barton Reading & Spelling System." was developed to help children, teens & adults who struggle with Reading and Spelling. Barton is a system using one-on-one tutoring developed to help with dyslexia.
The Barton program requires it be administered by a Barton trained Tutor, two times per week, one hour per session, to be successful. (Three times per week is acceptable, but not necessary.)

These lessons are open to people of all ages and levels. Parents may request their child's days, times and schedule length. Most sessions take place within our center, but we're also available for in-home or other mutually agreed locations.

These lessons are open to people of all ages and levels. Parents may request their child's days, times and schedule length. Most sessions take place at our center, but at-home lessons or other mutually agreed locations may be negotiated as well. We will focus on the development of basic verbal and written comprehension, communication, accent and pronunciation of the English language. Basic grammar covering the present tense, future tense, simple past tense, and the progressive tenses will be covered. An important focus will be on question construction. Essential and basic verbs, vocabulary, and common phrases will be practiced both verbally and in written form. Students will develop conversational skills and confidence.
